Havanese puppies come in a plethora of colors / color combinations with different patterns and markings which makes every litter a surprise as to what you will get! Not only are the colors numerous they also change as the dog ages. The photos below show just how much change occurs in the first 8 wks of the Havanese puppie's life.
Please note, the colors/markings/patterns given below are what I think, as the breeder, the color classification should be for the puppy. AKC rules rules state that the color classification is to predict what the Havanese puppy will end up looking like as an adult. As you might imagine this is not so easy with the Havanese breed that seems to be constantly changing right in front of your eyes. I have found that by the time a Havanese puppy is eight weeks old you can pretty much guess the color the puppy will end up being based on the root color of the coat.
